Special Routes

City Island Shuttle. Special weekday shuttle service is provided to and from the Park & Ride lot located on City Island to Downtown Harrisburg and the Capitol Complex continuing on to the Farm Show complex and HACC. (There is a fee to park on City Island.)

The fee for the shuttle service to downtown is 50¢. Those passengers continuing on to the Farm Show complex or HACC pay the regular base fare of $1.50.

Express Service. CAT offers express service to Downtown Harrisburg from several locations including Carlisle, Dillsburg, Mechanicsburg and Colonial Park. The fee for express service is the base fare plus 10¢.

Park & Ride. CAT has 14 suburban Park & Ride locations where you can park your car free and board the CAT bus to Downtown Harrisburg. There is also a Park & Ride lot located on City Island, for which there is a per day parking fee.
